Scroll down to see more about each one and how your student can be part of this fabulous program!

School Year Program

How does the school year program work?

STARBASE Winchester operates with two classrooms, offering programs Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, for a total of 25 hours. Each classroom accommodates 20 to 32 students. STARBASE Winchester provides all necessary program materials, while schools are responsible for transportation to and from the facility. Students should wear suitable attire and bring their own snacks and lunch, or coordinate with the school if they typically purchase lunch on-site.

Do you offer custom class schedules?

Yes! We offer flexible class schedules outside of the standard Monday through Friday times, including alternate hours (e.g., 9 AM to 2 PM). To arrange a custom class, please contact the Director to schedule.

What is the schedule for the school year program?

Our school year program follows the local school calendar, including holidays and breaks. However, if your school observes different holidays or breaks than the local school districts, we can accommodate classes during those specific holidays and breaks. Please contact the Director to verify schedule availability.

Summer Camps

How do the summer camps work?

Students entering 6th grade in the upcoming school year can enroll in the summer camp on an individual basis. Each camp session runs for four days (Monday through Thursday), from 9 AM to 2 PM. STARBASE Winchester provides all necessary program materials, though students are responsible for bringing their own lunch and transportation to the facility.

How do I enroll?

Summer camp offerings are posted on our homepage each May. Once available, simply choose the session that best fits your schedule, click the enrollment button, and complete the form. Please submit only one form for the session you wish to attend.

Advanced Program

What does the Advanced Program offer?

The Advanced Program is designed to deepen students’ engagement in STEAM. It features two distinct tracks: one for middle school students and another for high school students. Whether students have previously participated in our school-year STEAM program or are joining for the first time, the Advanced Program offers a dynamic and challenging experience that nurtures curiosity, builds skills, and inspires continued exploration in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

How does it work?

Our instructors typically come directly to the schools to lead the program. However, alternative arrangements can be made by coordinating with the Program Director to best fit your school’s needs.

What is the schedule for the advanced program?

Our program aligns with the local school calendar, observing the same holidays and scheduled breaks during the academic year. However, STARBASE Winchester operates year-round, offering additional opportunities for advanced programs during the summer.
